Learn about how going Out-of-Network saves our patients hundreds of dollars or more!
CANCELLATION POLICY: In order to continue to provide the quality of care at an affordable cost, we require notice of a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within less than 24 hours and No-Shows will result in a $50 charge.
Our Approach: It's our pride and passion to provide you with the highest level of care possible! Our unique model of 60-minute sessions of one-on-one care includes a strong focus upon highly skilled hands-on Manual Therapies/Myofascial Release in combination with teaching you individualized self-treatment exercise programs. We empower you with the knowledge of how to treat yourself as much as possible and never have you do exercises in clinic that you could do on your own at home after you've already mastered them. The cost per session is not only more affordable at our clinic, but our patients require fewer sessions and achieve results much faster than average due to the higher level of care we provide. This means less time in the clinic and away from your family, friends, work & life with a quicker recovery! When this is all taken into account, the out-of-pocket expense with Balance Within Physical Therapy & Myofascial Release is a huge bargain!
Why we don't file for insurance: Filing for insurance would require us to completely change our treatment model (and not in a good way!). In these situations, insurance not only often limits the visits allowed and directly dictates what type of treatment options a therapist may provide, they also often require many hours more of paperwork for repeated authorizations, taking away time for patient treatment. The cost of hiring full-time staff to manage the authorizations and billing is significant and is passed on to the patient. Many of these clinics charge $250-$500/hour for therapy, making affording therapy difficult with a high deductible plan! We feel that model is not ideal so we have stepped outside of the box and charge a fraction of these rates. Yet most clients can still submit their receipts to their insurance for reimbursement! Medicare: Balance Within is not a Medicare Provider thus law prevents us from providing "normally covered services" to Medicare beneficiaries. If you are a Medicare beneficiary and would still like to request treatment at our clinic, please call us at 773.807.2469 (Jereme) or 262.442.5054 (Sarah).
